Multi-use Learning Facility (MLF)

Multi-use Learning Facilities are designed to meet the unique mission of the command being served at each location. These centers maintain publications to support training in virtually all military occupational fields. There are also a number of resources available for soldiers to check out and take home. These resources include study manuals for tests such as CLEP, DSST, and other exams for college credit, the AFCT, the SAT and GRE, among many others. Most are stocked with foreign language training materials, a variety of CD-Rom and video and/or DVD instructional materials, as well as many other educational and training resources.

Computers are available in MLFs for use by servicemembers in taking classes online, working on correspondence courses, researching and writing scholarly papers, completing training and job requirements, and more. Leading-edge technology allows servicemembers access to the Army Training Digital Library (ATDL), which includes digitized publications (FMs, ARs, TMs, etc.) and training support packages. Distance Learning Centers across the region also make possible video-teleconferencing and instruction.
